ViewCompanion Premium x64 is a resourceful piece of software developed to help you view and print drawing files previously created by CAD software (like AutoCAD). It offers support for plotter, PDF, DWF, HPGL, HPGL/2, HP-RTL and other types of files. Additional functions powered by ViewCompanion Standard focus on performing batch operations when it comes to printing drawing files, converting them to other formats (e.g. to PDF, BMP, DWF, DXF, JPEG) and generating reports, publishing the active file to PDF or DWF format, putting together a movie, extracting pages, or adding overlay files. Furthermore, you can associated file types with this app, reset the UI to default state, and check for software updates with one click. ViewCompanion Premium is a pretty efficient piece of software. It does not hamper the computer’s performance, the response time is good, the import and export capabilities are quite impressive and there are sufficient options integrated to keep you busy for quite a while. Conversion is one of the most important features in ViewCompanion and it can convert to the following formats: Adobe PDF Adobe Postscript® AutoDesk DWF AutoDesk DXF CALS Group 4 Raster Computer Graphics Metafile Gerber RS-274X HP-RTL Raster JPEG Raster Paintbrush PCX (PCX) Portable Network Graphics (PNG) Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) TIFF Raster Windows Bitmap (BMP) Windows Enhanced Metafile (EMF) Windows Metafile (WMF) With ViewCompanion Premium x64 you can add markups to the loaded file. Supported markup elements include rectangles, lines, dimension lines, area measurements, ellipses, polygons, text, arrows, stamps and images. You can select one of the predefined stamps or create your own. User defined symbol libraries makes it easy to add frequently used symbols as markups. Hyper links can be added to markup elements, and a hyper link can either open another drawing in ViewCompanion, or open an Internet location using the default browser. All markup elements are stored in a separate file. The original file will be left unchanged. The markup elements can optionally be included when the viewed file is printed or converted. The markup elements can be exported to a DXF file.
